Summer Rock Band Camp
Brighton Music Academy offers a Rock Band Camp for young musicians between the ages of 9 and 16 who are interested in improving their skills and playing in a group. The camp covers a wide range of musical genres, including modern rock, pop, blues, jazz, and country music, and is open to students who are beginners or early intermediates on guitar, bass guitar, piano/keyboard, or drum set.
The week-long camp takes place from Monday, July 24th to Friday, July 28th, with classes meeting from 10am to 3pm each day. The camp is structured with practice sessions, lunch breaks, and opportunities for campers to jam with each other. At the end of the week, there will be a performance for parents on Friday, July 28th, either at a local venue or at the music academy.
By attending the Rock Band Camp, young musicians will learn the dynamics of playing in a group, understand their role in a band, and improve their skills on their chosen instrument. They will also gain a better understanding of chord progressions commonly used in modern music, build confidence in their abilities, and have fun collaborating with other young musicians who share their passion for music.
Overall, the Rock Band Camp at Brighton Music Academy is an excellent opportunity for young musicians to learn, grow, and have fun playing music with others.
